Does Heal/prot Bo staves exist? - Guild Wars Forums

as title says...i was just looking as if u can get curses and channeling etc there not primary attributes so in essence Heal/prot should exist!?!....does anyone have one or a screenie just to clear this up with me and another guy im arguing with lol

Yes, they do exist, every caster attribute has a wand attached to it. Although healing and protection prayers wand attributes don't pop-up as often as they should.

Unfortunately as with ALL old tyrian/canthan staves there are none in existance with a requirement of Healing or Protection. You can just find ones with a different req. but with HCT mod of Healing or Protection, so they're essentially 20/20 heal or prot staves but not compatibile with Adept Head and not dealing Holy dmg (except req. Smiting ones). I know it sucls as there are close to no alternatives in game at all.

I got a proto bo staff doing minister cho's. It's the only one of the monk line ive ever got. Now that i think about it i have got many many bo staves but only one in monk. that is kinda strange.

But to the question at hand, yes they drop in all Att's.

Cronk: Isn't your staff just a req Divine or something else with just 1 HCT Prot mod? Screenshot please.

None of the "universal" Staves in Cantha drops with req Prot.
And they don't drop in all attributes.

I'd love to see a screen of your "Prot-Staff"

Yawg i was pretty sure it was proto, but if it is established they do not drop in that att line than i believe ya. I got that staff maybe 2-3 months ago.

It was sold in game so no i have 0 proof of this. In conclusion im guessing it wasnt proto. I have sold dozens of bo staves over the last year or so and none of them were exceptional anyways so it wasnt something i would have went nuts over. must have been DF.

AS take me and yawgmont said, Bo staffs only come for Smite and divine.

Same thing for: platinum, dragon, bo, plagueborn, celestial, forbidden and cockratrice staffs (Might be for few other things)

and for more info about attritubes that dont excist i suggest ppl go to take_me's profile and from there hes wiki page
